Naggar Castle
The Castle was converted into a rest house, a hundred year back and in 1978 this ancient building was handed over to HPTDC to run as a heritage hotel. This medieval Castle was built by Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu around 1460 A.D. The hotel overlooks the Kullu Valley and apart from the spectacular view and superb location this has a flavour of authentic western Himalayan architecture. Here, a gallery houses the paintings of the Russian artist Nicholas Roerich.
Sajla Waterfall Manali
Sajla Waterfall is a stunning natural waterfall located in Village Sajla. Situated on the left side of the River Beas, it is roughly 10 kilometers from Manali. ajla Falls is a wonderful picnic site. It is surrounded by deodar trees, pine trees, apple orchards, and stunning snow-covered mountain peaks. You may also take a nice bath at the falls or swim slowly in the tiny pool at the falls. The nearby hill is also good for a trek.
Atal Tunnel Rohtang
Atal Tunnel is a 9.02-kilometre-long road tunnel connecting Manali and Keylong. It helps in bypassing the Rohtang Pass, Himachal Pradesh in the eastern Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas. It carries two lanes of National Highway 3. It is the longest highway single-tube tunnel above 10,000 feet in the world.
Dagpo Shedrupling Monastery Kais
At about 10 km away from Kullu, the Dhakpo ShedrupLing Monastery Located. It is situated in Kais Village and thus it is also called the Kais Monastery which is located at the bank of Beas River. The Monastery was introduced in May 2005 by the Dalai Lama.
Babeli Nature Park Kullu
This Nature park used to be garbage dump and drinking hole for villagers until 2017 , when the forest department had converted it into a Nature park. It was the idea which was given itself by the villagers inspired by a Nature park in Mohal , Kullu. They had dig a big hole to dump the garbage and covered that from soil brought from 5 km away. These clothes these statues are wearing resembles the kulluvi pahari dress .
Manali Mall Road
In every hill station, Mall Road is an important place to explore. Manali also has its Mall road that is a busy part of the town. In the evenings, one can find all the visitors strolling around here.
